Performance Shows
Performance at Latin Fire is not an interlude between competitions. Master and jury performance, professional performance, folkloric culture performance and live bands each hold their own place on the arena stage — and artists are welcome to put themselves forward to be chosen.
01 · Jury Demo Show
Master & Jury Performance
The master artists who judge the competition also perform — fully prepared work held to the same standard they ask of competitors, followed by an open panel on technique and judging.
On stage
- Prepared, rehearsed performances by master artists
- Open panel discussion afterwards
- Main arena, day two
- Not part of the judged competition
02 · Artistic showcase
Professional Show
Professional performance staged as art in its own right, outside the competition. Selected companies, couples and soloists take the main arena stage.
On stage
- Professional or advanced performance level
- A prepared piece ready for a main-stage slot
- Selection on the basis of recent footage
- Main arena, across all three days
03 · Afro-Caribbean & Latin folklore
Culture Performance
Folkloric culture of Latin America and the Caribbean as a separate stage programme: grounded technique, traditional costume and the living music it belongs to.
On stage
- Folkloric and traditional repertoire
- Traditional costume and live percussion
- Its own slot in the arena programme
- Separate from the Professional Show and the Band Show
04 · Live music
Band Show
Eight professional live bands carry the concert-format segment, with professional artists dancing alongside them across the three halls and the evening concerts.
On stage
- Professional live bands and singers
- Full sets in the day and evening programme
- Dancing artists on stage with the band
- Three halls, three nights
How selection works
Welcome to sign up
Every performance format is open to applications. Send us recent footage and a short background; our artistic team selects the line-up per hall and per day, and comes back to you by email. We recommend and prioritise artists who already have a profile on LatinFire.AI.
